INTRODUCING THE TIGHTHEAD MUNDELEIN GRAND PRIX

The Mundelein Grand Prix, presented by Tighthead Brewing Company, is a professional and amateur bicycle race as part of the nationally renowned Chicago Grit race series. Races are held in a "criterium" format, meaning that racers will compete together on a short circuit racecourse in Downtown Mundelein and complete as many laps as possible within the allotted time. Once one race finishes, another begins shortly thereafter. There will be almost nonstop racing from 10:20 AM to 8:00 PM. With tight turns and fast straightaways, races are always a thrilling spectacle! But this day is more than just about bike races: a beer garden, children's games, a community ride, live music, art activities, and more will make the Mundelein Grand Prix an event the whole community can enjoy.
