Lars, Kim and Bente Rasmussen, of World Financial Group always go the extra mile for the Chamber, as active Platinum Members for 9 years, and participants in nearly every function, as well. Through WFG, the Rasmussen's educate others about the importance of making sound financial decisions. Their seminars at area libraries draw large crowds, who soak up plenty of educational information on how to build your financial future. Kim explained that the WFG mission is to help famlies from all walks of life build a solid future. 'We work with clients to create a customized strategy to protect themselves and their families,' he said. Lars can be seen at most every Chamber networking function, including mixers, ribbon cuttings, and network groups such as Conversations 4 Success, and Thursday Morning Weekly Business Interchange at Liberty Restaurant. He has also sponsored events, such as the Annual Dinner. He makes it a point to patronize host businesses, introduce people to others, mentor new members, makenew connections, and promote the benefits of Chamber membership. The family team readily volunteer to help at GLMV expos, events, programs and activities. They never say 'No' to requests for assistance! 
What's more...Lars always show kindness to Chamber staff, sending greetings and staying in touch.

Volunteering on a committee only requires a small amount of time, but it can make a difference! We welcome your participation, ideas and support.
